How the backend works

The backend is the invisible part of every website - the part that does the actual work you never see. Hover a node to see what happens at each stop.

backend.log - Your browser

you click "Projects"

browser sends a request: "show me the projects"

How I work

# how I show up for a team

01

Async first

I keep meetings light. Chat me anytime - I reply fast, unless I'm sleeping. Everything discussed ends up in my Notion, so nothing gets lost.

02

Code over chat

Don't describe the bug, paste it. Code arguments get settled in PRs.

03

Ship, then iterate

I'd rather ship something real than polish a demo forever. Real users find bugs I can't imagine.

04

Cut the crap

Bad news early beats good news late. You'll hear it from me first.

Got a backend problem?
Let's talk about it.

Vague requirement, performance bottleneck, or a system that needs to scale? I build the boring, reliable parts so you don't have to.
